Optimized Chirality in Quantum Random Walks

We implement chiral transformations on quantum random walks and study how an optimized chiral transform affects hitting time — the time for a continuous-time quantum walk to locate a marked vertex. The goal is to understand how much a well-chosen chirality can improve the efficiency of search algorithms built on continuous-time quantum walks.

Emergence in Many-Body Localization

We study how "structure" emerges in quantum systems undergoing many-body localization, and the role randomness plays in that emergence — looking at the boundary between disorder and order in strongly correlated, non-ergodic systems.
